We meet up in-person (North Carolina, in and around Sampson County) twice per month to walk trails and enjoy activities such as: Birding, Camping, Plant & wildlife identification, Nature Journaling, Art Journaling, Fishing, Nature photography, Picnicking and more. You do not need prior experience with any of these activities to join! This group is open to queer cis & trans women + non binary folks comfortable in women centered spaces who are 18+. Thriving Beyond Belief is a community for Non-Believers who are on a path of healing after religious trauma and/or faith de-conversion. We value connection, doing good, and enjoying life without religious affiliation. Our group centers around building friendships, promoting healing and personal growth, and exploring the natural world together. Through outdoor adventures, volunteer projects, and engaging discussions, we foster a sense of belonging while making a positive impact on the world around us. Open to local North Carolina residents in and around Sampson County who are 18+. Membership is $30/year.

Earthling Adventure Club is a nature-based adventure group designed for homeschool children ages 4-6 and their parents, fostering a love of nature and outdoor exploration. This group is for BIPOC children and their families in and around Sampson County, NC: It offers nature enthusiasts and budding scientists the opportunity to connect with the natural world through weekly outdoor gatherings. Participants will build social-emotional skills, form lasting friendships, and learn about our world around us in an informal "forest learning" setting. Through activities like unstructured and structured play, nature observation, and exploration in local parks, farms, and nature centers, Earthling Adventure Club nurtures curiosity, respect for self and others, and a passion for learning. With a focus on sustainability and conscious parenting, parents serve as mentors, modeling a deep connection to nature, guiding their children in playful, mindful exploration of the outdoors. Membership is $30 per month.
